France Culture : the second radio channel of intellectual and cultural professions in France.

The French public radio has a cultural channel since 1963. There has been many controversies about the structure of its audience. We studied the profile of its listeners during 3 weeks in 2000 and 2001 thanks to their listening notes. Thus we outline the profile of the categories which are most akin to this cultural radio and the representation of the various categories within its audience. We show that the upper categories range this channel at best as their second radio.
